This building, located in the Jefferson Park neighborhood, right next to the park, is a mixed-use high-rise providing both accommodation and public spaces open to the community. With an aging population, it would only make sense to incorporate more and more senior citizens into our design process. This is why this high-rise offers senior housing as well as market rate. In times when the environment is at the center of every discussion, we wanted to focus ourselves on the sustainability aspect of architecture.
Rising at almost 300 feet, this wooden structure offers 23 floors of residential units, with studios, 1 and 2 bedrooms apartments, often double oriented. A second skin wrapping around the building offers weather-protection, allowing each resident to enjoy their balconies at any time of the year. The first 3 floors, with a concrete structure, offer a solid base and a variety of large open spaces for the community to enjoy.
